Empowering Young People Through Personalised Support
We provide bespoke alternative provision for young people aged 4 and above with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). Our holistic approach combines therapeutic support, practical life skills, and enriching experiences to help each young person reach their full potential.
Our Services:
Therapy – Our therapeutic services provide a safe, nurturing space where young people can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and work through challenges with qualified professionals.
LEGO Therapy – Using LEGO bricks as a therapeutic tool, young people work collaboratively to build projects, developing social skills, communication, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork in a fun and engaging way.
Therapeutic Games – Through specially selected board and card games designed for therapeutic use, young people learn to navigate feelings of anxiety, depression, and anger in a playful, non-threatening environment. These activities build emotional regulation and healthy coping strategies.
Role Play – Young people practice real-world scenarios in a safe space, developing assertiveness, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities. These exercises strengthen confidence and enhance both social and functional skills.
Music Therapy – From playing instruments and singing to listening and creating original compositions, music therapy taps into emotions and memories. It offers young people a creative outlet for self-expression and supports their emotional wellbeing.
Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques – Through deep breathing exercises, guided discussion, and practical activities, we help young people manage stress and anxiety. By focusing on the present moment—noticing what they’re experiencing and why—students develop greater self-awareness and find calm.
Cooking and Baking Sessions/Nutrition – Young people explore the foundations of healthy eating and discover why a balanced diet matters. As they learn new recipes and cooking techniques, they experience the therapeutic benefits of creating food while gaining practical skills and a genuine sense of accomplishment.
Sensory Play – We offer sensory experiences tailored to each young person’s needs, using textures, sounds, lights, and materials to support regulation, exploration, and learning in a calm, engaging environment.
Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) – We provide tailored educational provision for young people who are unable to attend mainstream school, ensuring they continue to learn and progress in a supportive, individualized setting.
Life Skills Training – We equip young people with practical skills for independence and daily living, from personal care and cooking to budgeting and time management, building confidence for their future.
Emotional Regulation Support – Through personalized strategies and consistent guidance, we help young people understand and manage their emotions, developing resilience and self-awareness.
Mentoring – Our experienced mentors provide one-to-one support within our setting, building trusting relationships and offering guidance tailored to each young person’s needs and goals.
Animal-Assisted Learning – Interaction with animals offers unique therapeutic benefits, helping young people develop empathy, responsibility, and communication skills in a calming, engaging environment.
Outdoor Learning – Our outdoor education programme connects young people with nature, promoting physical activity, environmental awareness, and hands-on learning experiences that build confidence and teamwork.
