Volunteers undertake valuable work in the ARCOS centre in Malvern by turning their hand to a range of clerical and creative tasks including making therapy materials for children.

".I worked at the ARCOS Centre in Malvern as a volunteer for a number of weeks over my summer. This short period of time was extremely valuable and it gave me a unique insight into speech and language therapy. ARCOS has increased my awareness and interest so much that having now completed my degree in English Language I am considering further work in this field. We need more ARCOS volunteers throughout the UK to raise awareness of communication, and increase understanding about ways to help children and adults who have problems who have problems in communicating, eating or drinking. Last but not least, we need volunteers to fundraise for ARCOS.
